BRUNELL RESIDENCE
( PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FLORIDA )
This two-story oceanfront residence was built
for the quarterback of the Jacksonville Jaguars in Ponte Vedra
Beach, Florida.
The structure was founded on continuous concrete
footings. The walls were built of concrete masonry unit "CMU"
with repeated huge arches. The floor and roof framing system were
built using prefabricated wood elements.
The structure was designed to resist a 110 mph
hurricane wind storm and met the requirements of the Department
of Environmental Protection.
