New 20,000 square foot addition to Flight Safety International’s Gulfstream Training Center. The single story addition is comprised of open web steel joists and joist girders bearing on structural steel columns and exterior load bearing masonry walls that houses 12 classrooms with a total combined seating capacity of 216 persons. The entire structure is supported on shallow foundations and was designed for a seismic design category B.
