New 3,000 square foot, single-story addition to the existing dealership sales and showroom building. The structure consists of metal roof deck on open web steel joists supported on both tube steel and wide flange beams and tube steel columns with light gauge stud wall infill. The entire structure is founded on a shallow concrete foundation. The design challenges for this structure involved the attachment of new framing elements to the walls of the existing structure.
